Struck in 1896, the Hamburg Fünf Mark was one of Imperial Germany's most celebrated silver coins — minted for just a few years before disappearing from circulation forever. Each pendant begins its life as one of these original coins, hand-selected for the clarity of its relief and the depth of its engraving.

Our artisans cut, polish, and weld each piece by hand, preserving both faces of the coin so the Hamburg coat of arms and the Imperial Eagle remain intact — exactly as they were struck over 125 years ago. Nothing is cast. Nothing is reproduced. Every pendant is a singular artifact.
