This ring is handcrafted from an authentic French 10 Franc silver coin. These large-denomination coins were minted between 1965 and 1973, struck in .900 fine silver.

The outer face of this substantial coin ring bears France's national motto — LIBERTÉ ÉGALITÉ FRATERNITÉ (Liberty, Equality, Fraternity). Each word in the motto is represented by a figure: Liberty holding a pole topped with a Phrygian cap, Equality holding a set of scales, and Hercules standing between them as their protector.
